The M3 Pro can accommodate up to 36GB of unified memory. with Apple MacBook Pro 16 inch, the M3 Pro has an 18-Core GPU and Dynamic Caching, which allocates the usage of local memory in hardware in real-time. Dynamic Caching only utilizes the precise amount of RAM required for each job, drastically increasing average GPU utilization and resulting in considerable performance gains for the most demanding professional apps and games. The MacBook Pro now supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing. Ray tracing simulates the qualities of light as it interacts with a scene, allowing applications to produce visuals that are incredibly realistic and physically correct. Furthermore, the upgraded GPU adds hardware-accelerated mesh shading to the MacBook Pro, increasing geometry processing capabilities and efficiency and allowing more visually sophisticated scenes in games and graphics-intensive programs. The M3 Pro has two video encoders, two ProRes engines, and an AV1 decoder.
